Pumpkin contest rules & prizes

Kidzle Studios / Westfield Enterprises, LLC · 2026 Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Who can enter

Children ages 10 and younger may create a design using our free Pumpkin Designer. A parent or legal guardian age 18 or older must submit the entry, verify their own email, confirm the rules, and give separate permission to publish the public design. No purchase or marketing subscription is required. One entry per child, with a maximum of five entries per family. A parent may submit separate designs for siblings within that limit. Saved entries count toward the limit, including entries awaiting email confirmation or later removed. Resending confirmation for the same design does not use another entry. The five-entry limit applies to the whole family, including entries submitted by different parents or guardians. Circumventing this limit is not allowed.

Age is the child’s age when the entry is submitted. The six groups are ages 5 and younger, age 6, age 7, age 8, age 9, and age 10. We request the age group, not a birth date. The public image may include a pumpkin title and a first name or nickname. Parents must review the preview and remove last names and contact details.

Entry and voting deadline

The contest opens when published. Entries, parent email confirmations, and likes must be completed by October 31, 2026 at 9:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (also 9:00 p.m. Arizona time). The server’s clock controls the deadline. Email links expire after 24 hours or at the deadline, whichever comes first. Unconfirmed entries do not count. Likes count immediately when saved; no voter email confirmation is needed.

Public review and likes

Entries appear automatically in the public gallery after parent email confirmation; individual studio approval is not required. The public copy keeps the pumpkin title and optional first-name banner. Parents must review that copy before submitting and use a first name or nickname only, with no last names or contact details. The studio may remove designs with last names or contact details, inappropriate content, duplicate entries for the same child, or other rule violations. Removed entries are excluded from voting and prizes. Submit and confirm early to allow time for sharing.

People age 13 or older may like a design with one click, without entering an email. Clicking Like confirms that the voter is 13 or older. Voting does not enter a design into the contest; an adult parent or legal guardian must submit every entry. Each person may like each design once and may like multiple designs. A first-party browser cookie remembers likes until the contest closes; repeat clicks from that browser do not add likes. Shared Wi-Fi does not limit everyone to a single like. These checks do not identify individual people. Clearing cookies, switching browsers or devices, automated voting, or purchasing votes to inflate one person’s support are not allowed. Likes already counted under the earlier email-confirmation system remain counted; please do not vote for the same design again. Kidzle Studios reserves the right to review, reject, or disqualify an entry before final results are issued when it reasonably suspects a violation of these contest rules, including duplicate entries for the same child, false eligibility information, attempts to bypass the family entry limit, or manipulation of votes. Decisions will be based on available information and the rules will be applied consistently. Only gallery likes count; YouTube likes and the Pumpkin Designer’s activity Like are separate.

How winners and edition numbers are chosen

The ten eligible designs with the most likes in each age group win. Ties go to the earlier submitted entry. If timestamps are identical, the stored entry identifier provides a consistent final ordering. After choosing the winners in each group, all winning designs are ranked together by likes, using the same tie rule. That combined ranking assigns Silver editions 1–60. Winners are displayed by age group on the winners page.

For example, a three-year-old with the most likes across all winning designs receives 1/100. The first-place winner in the age-ten group could receive 23/100 if 22 winning designs across the other groups have higher combined ranking. The number is always out of 100, the size of the full Silver series.

If a group has fewer than ten eligible entries, all eligible entries in that group win; unused prize places do not move to another age group. Any unawarded numbers among 1–60 stay reserved and will not be sold.

The Silver Collection

Each winner’s parent receives one free digital Pumpkin Decorating Party Silver Collection, plus a downloadable “Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winner” certificate. The Silver series is limited to 100 numbered collection issuances: editions 1–60 are reserved for contest winners and editions 61–100 are offered to collectors for $69 USD each. There are at most 60 prizes, with a listed combined value of $4,140. No cash alternative is offered.

The Silver Collection contains the same 26 artwork scenes as the regular Pumpkin Decorating Party collection. Its distinction is the specially numbered Silver certificate: each scene certificate carries the collection’s assigned edition number, such as 23/100, alongside its scene number. These are digital downloads for personal printing, with no physical shipment. The first available collector number from 61–100 is reserved during checkout. Refunded issued numbers are retired, not reissued.

The numbering is inspired by limited artist-proof series. Lower numbers are awarded to higher-ranked winners; a number does not guarantee resale value or make the underlying digital images exclusive. Regular collections remain available separately.

Results and prize delivery

At the deadline, the site banner changes to “See winners.” While results are being calculated, the page explains that results are pending. Results are finalized from eligible email-confirmed entries, and parents receive private prize download links by email. Prize emails are separate from optional marketing. Keep private download links safe. The winners page displays designs, age groups, likes, ranks, and edition numbers, including the approved title and first-name banner within the image, but no parent email addresses.
